Description
Algolia is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to help enhance their Optimisation team. The focus will be on growing the effectiveness of the Analytics and AB testing features. These features help customers measure the impact of Algolia and optimize their configurations.
The role involves contributing to the design, development, and operation of the Optimisation system at scale. Engineers who are proficient with Golang and databases are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
Contribute to the design, development, and operation of the Optimisation system at scale.
Ensure the system's quality and functionality.
Collaborate with other teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve high-impact issues.
Requirements
Recent graduate with a curious mind for Computer Science (data structures, algorithms, software design).
1 year of work experience or internships is a plus.
High-quality code and automated testing practices.
Experience working with complex codebases and distributed backends.
Proficient in designing major components.
Professional spoken and written English skills.
