Description
Twitch is looking for a Systems Development Engineer to join the Enterprise Systems Engineering team.
The role involves developing and maintaining services to manage employee identity and improve productivity.
The Engineer will work on enhancing internal systems like Okta, Google Workspace, ServiceNow, Slack, and Atlassian Jira/Confluence.
Additionally, the role includes leveraging AWS infrastructure for system integration and creating self-service tools.
The position reports to the Sr. Manager of Enterprise Systems Engineering and allows remote work within the United States.
Responsibilities
Build solutions on AWS using CDK to support internal systems.
Develop data integrations between applications.
Assist in the maintenance and operations of critical third-party infrastructure like Atlassian Jira/Confluence and GitHub Enterprise.
Manage configurations for enterprise applications.
Create and maintain documentation around processes and workflows.
Respond to operational issues and requests from internal customers.
Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure high availability and prompt incident response.
Requirements
1+ years of programming experience in Python, Go, or TypeScript.
1+ years of experience with several AWS Services and products.
Experience automating administrative and configuration tasks.
Good troubleshooting skills at all levels, from application to network to host.
Basic understanding of infrastructure as code concepts.
Interest in building, maintaining, and supporting high-scale, business-critical systems in a cloud environment.
