Extreme Networks is seeking a Staff Software Backend Developer to join their innovative team. The role involves designing and developing cutting-edge technology solutions for ExtremeCloud Applications, a top-rated, AI/ML powered cloud network management platform. Responsibilities
Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Write clean, reusable, and scalable code adhering to best practices.
Create and review technical documentation and specifications.
Design scalable systems that handle increased user demands.
Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, security, and maintainability.
Collaborate with developers, architects, and various teams to build applications.
Provide technical leadership and resolve functional and technical issues.
Deliver applications based on wireframes and client requirements.
Requirements
8+ years of experience as a backend developer with advanced skills in Dockers, Kubernetes, and Clustering.
Proficiency in algorithms, design patterns, and coding with GoLang, C, Java, or Python.
Experience building high-scale, cloud-based secured web applications.
Strong experience with APIs and interfaces - REST, NETConf, JSON, OpenAPI.
Experience with relational and non-relational databases, MySQL, MariaDB, Redis.
Familiarity with event-based architecture and messaging services like RabbitMQ and Kafka.
Understanding of web performance, accessibility, and security protocols.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience building CI/CD pipelines.
BS in Computer Science or related field.
