Codeworks is a locally owned IT Services firm in SE Wisconsin. Our financial services client seeks an experienced React Native Software Engineer for a contract position, with potential for full-time conversion. This role is critical in delivering innovation for mobile retail banking applications, collaborating on code development and reviews, and ensuring application performance and security.
Responsibilities
Develop mobile applications within the Digital domain aligning with business goals and regulatory requirements.
Implement scalable and maintainable mobile application code supporting various financial services.
Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, backend developers, QA, and other stakeholders to understand and implement technical solutions.
Support transition of Angular Ionic codebase to React Native.
Implement features with quality and handle critical customer-impacting issues promptly.
Participate in code reviews, providing and accepting technical feedback to ensure code quality.
Support continuous improvement initiatives in mobile application development processes.
Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to stakeholders.
Requirements
Multiple years of developing mobile applications for iOS and Android, preferably in the financial technology domain.
Proficiency in React Native, Angular, and Ionic Capacitor.
Experience transitioning a codebase from Angular Ionic to React Native is a plus.
Knowledge of secure coding practices and data protection mechanisms.
Familiarity with APIs and microservices architecture.
Experience measuring mobile application performance.
Understanding of financial services industry regulations and security standards.
Experience on FinTech projects focusing on usability, security, and innovation.
Experience with white label mobile applications.
Experience collaborating with India-based development teams.
Preferred degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
Understanding of software engineering principles and processes.
Full stack web development experience in React, Angular, and/or Node is a plus.
