Description
Fearless is seeking a Software Engineer I (Java/React) to join our team. The Engineer I will build and maintain software systems that solve customer problems. They will deliver solutions under the guidance of experienced team members based on requirements.
This role spans various domains including front-end, back-end, operations, and testing.
Responsibilities
Deliver code solutions following team code expectations and processes.
Perform manual exploratory testing as needed for the project.
Implement scripts for automation or data processing.
Research and prepare for backlog refinement tasks and user stories.
Troubleshoot and debug technical problems.
Participate in peer-reviews of tasks and code.
Work with the team to continuously learn and improve.
Requirements
Basic understanding of computer systems including web development, persistence, and networking.
Knowledge of at least one programming language like Node.js, Python, Go, Ruby, etc.
Experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
Understanding of basic git actions.
Professional work experience with Java, SpringBoot, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript.
At least 4 years of work experience as a software engineer/developer.
Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance before starting the position.
