Trust in SODA is searching for a Software Engineer focusing on Data & Governance, starting ASAP. The initial contract is for 6 months with a daily rate of £342 to £370. The role is remote.
The candidate will work on defining, discovering, assessing, protecting, and governing sensitive data such as religion, health, and sexual orientation. Ensuring the proper collection and usage of this data is crucial to both users and regulators worldwide. The team focuses on the Assess and Govern phases of the SDT execution lifecycle. Compliance and privacy risk management are key responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Deliver against regulatory requirements for the upcoming year.
Understand systems, communicate with partner engineering teams, and identify gaps.
Propose and implement solutions to close identified gaps.
Focus on code understanding more than code writing.
Collaborate with legal and policy teams to ensure evidence generation sufficiency.
Requirements
8+ years of experience.
Experience in smaller companies, privacy contexts, integrity, and safety.
Proficiency in Hack, Python, or PHP.
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
Effective communication skills.
