Responsibilities
Develop and enhance Sourcegraph's Code Search product to meet the needs of our enterprise customers.
Onboard to the Sourcegraph codebase, architecture, tooling, and development workflow within the first month.
Actively take part in team meetings, contributing ideas and insights.
Mentor junior team members and provide guidance to help them succeed.
Lead and co-lead projects, ensuring strong scoping, implementation, and delivery.
Maintain and expand Code Search product, focusing on scalability and high standards of code quality.
Requirements
2-5 years of hands-on experience as a Full-stack Software Engineer.
Proficiency in Go, with exposure to scaling and concurrency.
Proficiency with TypeScript and JavaScript frameworks; experience with React and SvelteKit is a plus.
Knowledge of GraphQL and familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
Comfortable interacting with relational databases; experience with PostgreSQL is a plus.
Familiarity with the command-line interface and bash scripting.
Experience in a multi-service environment.
Familiarity with Bazel as a build tool.
Experience with macOS and Linux platforms.
