Oracle is seeking a Software Developer 3 to join the Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure team. This role involves building cloud native solutions for the healthcare industry. The mission is to improve healthcare globally by providing better patient care experiences and easier access to health and research data. This position emphasizes creating a vibrant, collaborative environment to drive innovation and excellence in engineering.
Responsibilities
Assist in defining and developing software for applications and operating systems.
Debug and design software applications.
Provide technical assistance to other developers.
Implement modest changes to existing software architecture as needed.
Requirements
BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Experience in developing and shipping enterprise distributed and/or cloud native systems.
Strong understanding of system design fundamentals and distributed systems architectural best practices.
Demonstrated ability to write great code in Java, Python, or similar OO languages.
Experience with microservices frameworks like Helidon, Dropwizard, or Spring.
Familiarity with containers and technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
Ability to influence full system architecture.
Strong desire to make an impact and thrive in energetic environments.
Effective communication of technical concepts.
