At Appfire, the Senior Software Engineer with Node.js will be involved in building and enhancing products.
The role focuses on optimizing user experience, diving into performance improvements, and contributing to every stage of the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Join a cross-functional, self-organizing team.
Work closely with Software Engineers, Product Managers, and Team Leaders.
Design, build, and maintain scalable applications using Vue.js and Node.js.
Implement engineering practices like automated testing, code review, and pair programming.
Automate cloud services and manage configurations for operational efficiency.
Engage in discussions on product futures and business innovations.
Champion improvements within the team and products.
Benefit from seamless support and direct customer communication.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in delivering scalable cloud applications.
Proficient in JavaScript, with knowledge of Vue.js and Express.js being beneficial.
Experience with AWS or GCP cloud architectures.
Strong understanding of web application architecture.
Ability to mentor team members and shape team culture.
Proficiency in English at a B2 level or higher.
Experience with MongoDB and DynamoDB is an advantage.
Knowledge of Jira and/or Jira Service Management is a plus.
