Description
Polymarket is searching for a skilled Senior Product Engineer with a passion for building high-quality user-facing features. This role involves collaborating with engineers and designers to quickly iterate on products and gather user feedback to guide development.
Responsibilities
Build new user-facing features using React components.
Engage in regular communication with users to understand their needs and gather feedback.
Define and architect the long-term technical direction of the product engineering team.
Collaborate with engineers, designers, and stakeholders across the company to build, launch, and improve features.
Enhance monitoring and alerting infrastructure and practices.
Ensure the product meets high standards in security, availability, performance, and scalability.
Contribute to code reviews to maintain high code quality.
Requirements
5+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong knowledge of Typescript, Javascript (ES6+), CSS.
Experience with React and NextJS.
Understanding of modern state management patterns and caching strategies.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to bring ideas to life.
Passion for blockchain, decentralized finance, and freedom of speech.
(Plus) Experience with normalized caching strategies.
(Plus) Experience with RSC.
(Plus) Previous experience with data-intensive applications.
(Plus) Experience in blockchain, crypto, or financial industries.
(Plus) Familiarity with Polymarket or other prediction markets.
(Plus) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
