Kforce Inc. is looking for a talented Senior/Lead Software Engineer to join a renowned security and monitoring software firm. This remote role offers solid career advancement potential and a remarkable work-life balance. Candidates must live in the NY/NJ/PA/CT area and be available for onsite visits as needed to the New York, NY office.
Responsibilities
Lead in building web and mobile applications, solving complex technical and product challenges.
Design and write quality, maintainable, unit-tested, well-documented code.
Employ Agile methodologies to deliver continuous value to end users.
Develop and maintain internal Web Services/APIs, ensuring data integrity across databases.
Actively participate in architecture and scoping discussions.
Provide technical mentorship and contribute to team and company standards.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferred.
5+ years of experience in Full Stack Web Development (PHP and/or Python).
Experience in SQL, database design, and working with MySQL and/or SQL Server.
Experience integrating SOAP and RESTful APIs.
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript.
Competency with MVC frameworks, especially CodeIgniter and Flask.
Knowledge of RabbitMQ or other queue-based architectures.
