Description

AgileEngine is looking for a Senior/Lead JavaScript Engineer who will be a key contributor on a team of skilled full-stack developers. The focus will be on implementing Omnichannel capabilities to deliver the best user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to a team of full-stack developers in implementing Omnichannel capabilities with a focus on user experience.

  • Work with dynamic back-end technologies such as Elixir, Perl, and TypeScript.

  • Expand the use of React on company sites.

  • Collaborate with the team’s leadership to define scalable technical solutions.

  • Partner with global engineers to contribute to global technology products.

  • Troubleshoot and solve urgent technical problems.

  • Perform code reviews and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

  • Must be truly language-agnostic and able to pick up new languages quickly.

  • 4+ years of web development with expertise in JavaScript.

  • 3+ years of front-end development experience with expertise in CSS.

  • 3+ years of back-end development experience with expertise in NodeJS or TypeScript and GraphQL APIs.

  • Experience in building performant, responsive front-end components.

  • Strong technical background with knowledge of engineering principles and design patterns.

  • Passion for writing clean, maintainable, and performant code.

  • Proactive problem-solving skills and a self-starter attitude.

  • Positive, collaborative, and solution-oriented approach.

  • Experience working in an Agile team.

  • Upper-intermediate level of English.
