Description
Join Kerv as a Python Developer in a remote role, open for candidates from the UK or EU due to GDPR/Data Protection. Kerv is a purpose-led cloud and digital services organisation. We seek to harness the power of technology for our people, customers, society, and planet. Kerv's focus is on integrating Microsoft Teams with our existing products, Voxivo and VoxivoCX.
Responsibilities
Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Troubleshoot and debug applications.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Assist the Service Desk with customer tickets when needed.
Requirements
Proficiency in object-oriented programming, preferably in Python.
Experience working with Git for version control.
Proficiency with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Redis.
Experience with web frameworks such as Django or Flask.
Experience working in virtual environments like VMware, AWS services, or Azure.
Experience deploying software using automation tools like Jenkins and Ansible.
Basic knowledge of telephony platforms such as Asterisk, FreeSWITCH, or Kamailio is an advantage.
