Description
Scrut Automation is seeking a Python Developer based in Bangalore or available for remote work. The successful candidate will join a high-growth SaaS startup to contribute to its backend engineering efforts. The role involves writing scalable code in Python and occasionally working with other backend technologies such as JavaScript (Node.js) and Go. The primary focus will be on developing and maintaining APIs, writing and reviewing test cases, and ensuring system security.
Responsibilities

Write clear and effective API documentation.

Code to integrate applications used by various stakeholders.

Write and review test cases to ensure code quality.

Review code for self and team members.
-
Review designs, code, and processes from a system security standpoint.

Define and build micro-services.
-
Maintain systems with a positive business impact.

Track module health and improve code and processes.
Requirements
-
1-3 years of experience in FastAPI or other Python frameworks.

Ability to write clean, maintainable code following best practices.

Familiarity with OOP concepts.

Experience in API design.

Experience with NoSQL databases and microservice architecture is a plus.

Experience in cloud-native application development (SaaS) is beneficial.

Experience in working with relational and NoSQL databases.

Knowledge of cloud platforms like GCS, AWS, or Azure.

Strong problem-solving skills.

Good communication skills for working with developers globally.

Experience with CI/CD is a plus.
