Responsibilities
Write efficient back-end microservices for the cloud, handling large-scale interactions with multiple services.
Collaborate with the software development team to improve user interaction with various web-based services.
Generate reusable code libraries in PHP and JavaScript.
Coordinate and cooperate with front-end application developers.
Regularly inspect application code for speed optimization.
Conceptualize and implement data storage solutions.
Configure usability of all front-end applications.
Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute ideas to technology, algorithms, and products.
Help improve code quality through writing unit tests, automation, and performing code reviews.
Work autonomously and stay updated on new technologies.
Requirements
Team player with positive and excellent communication skills.
Strong passion for solving complex software problems and challenges at scale.
Experience with all phases of the software development life cycle, best practices, and Agile software development.
Excitement about technology and its impact, with a desire to keep abreast of industry trends.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for interactions about software development and implementation.
Solid knowledge in object-oriented programming (OOP) and software design.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive focused resolutions within product features.
Minimum of 3 years of experience with PHP and JavaScript.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in building back-end microservices.
At least 1 year of experience with scripting languages like Python, Perl, shell scripting, etc.
Minimum of 2 years of experience working as part of a distributed team.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a full-stack engineer.
A 3-year college degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
Track record of completing projects on time.
Experience deploying machine learning models is a plus.
