Description
Join Prosum as a Mobile TV App Frontend Developer focusing on Android technology. This role offers an opportunity to work with cross-functional teams to design and develop SAAS OTT Video Mobile/TV applications, significantly impacting the company's growth and direction. The developer will create applications with diverse UI templates and styles, adaptable to multiple customers and brands, and ensure a seamless experience across Android, iOS, and Smart TVs.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain SAAS OTT Video Mobile/TV applications using Android technology.
Develop applications with a framework supporting multiple UI templates and diverse brand requirements.
Ensure cross-platform compatibility for Android/iOS/Smart TV (Tizen/WebOS).
Create plugin frameworks for integrating adaptable components.
Understand and further develop existing software products.
Stay informed on mobile/TV application development trends and best practices.
Lead a small developer agile team and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science.
Strong knowledge of Java and Android SDK.
Proficiency in Android technology development.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON.
Familiarity with video players.
Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work efficiently.
Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Git and Jenkins.
Understanding of Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban.
Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
Preferred experience with SAAS platforms, live/VOD video streaming, Kotlin, and Jetpack Compose.
Experience with iOS Objective C or Swift/SwiftUI is advantageous.
Understanding of multimedia transport protocols (e.g., RTP, RTMP, SRT, UDP, HLS/DASH).
Experience in cryptography such as SHA/AES/DES/RSA/SSL/TLS.
Understanding of Digital Rights Management Systems like Playready, Widevine, and FairPlay.
