Arya is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to play a critical role in the software development lifecycle. This position involves overseeing planning, architecture, development, deployment, and optimization across the technology stack. The engineer will be part of a small, agile team dedicated to growing and evolving the engineering organization. The role will impact the technical direction and culture, working on meaningful projects in a collaborative environment that values innovation, ownership, and professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and address technical debt, continuously improving systems for performance, reliability, and scalability.

  • Monitor and maintain system health in production environments, quickly resolving issues and preventing recurrence.

  • Mentor and support other engineers through reviews, sharing best practices, and hands-on guidance.

  • Lead multiple projects from MVP stages to full-feature implementations, ensuring scalability, security, and quality.

  • Solve complex problems with simple, efficient solutions while maintaining high-quality code.

  • Drive technical decisions and establish team standards, processes, and best practices.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of experience in software development with a solid understanding of software engineering foundations.

  • A successful track record of leading projects from concept to completion for a minimum of 3 years.

  • Experience in architecting systems for longevity, observability, and maintainability.

  • Scalability mindset with the ability to identify, design, and implement systems and processes.

  • Previous experience building mobile applications (iOS preferred) is nice to have.

  • Experience or interest in LLMs and AI technologies is a plus.
