ECS is seeking a dedicated Junior Linux Engineer to join our team in Fairfax, VA. This role supports our Field Service Operations, focusing on building and troubleshooting Linux systems. The ideal candidate will work with Docker/Kubernetes and integrate containerized technologies. Responsibilities
Build and troubleshoot Linux systems.
Integrate containerized technologies.
Work with a cross-functional team to deploy software and hardware globally.
Document and report system discrepancies.
Support a team of engineers in various locations.
Manage containerized applications.
Provide technical briefs to Government/SETA representatives.
Generate technical documentation and after-action reports.
Troubleshoot Linux systems in development and production environments.
Communicate within the Intelligence Community and DoD.
Conduct inventory and maintain program hardware account.
Lift equipment up to 50 pounds.
Requirements
Experience with RHEL and willingness to learn Docker/Kubernetes.
Familiarity with designing enterprise-scale systems.
Able to work in a multidisciplinary team with tight deadlines.
Initiative-taking and eager to work with modern technologies.
Experience with Multicast Video is beneficial but not required.
