Description
Rapid Consulting Services is looking for a dedicated Guidewire Developer with hands-on experience in at least one of the Guidewire products (ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter, BillingCenter). The candidate will design and develop integration solutions, utilizing Guidewire platform skills such as Gosu scripting, UI, and Data Model.
The role requires a strong understanding of web services, XML, JSON schema, and other related technologies. Knowledge of Guidewire Cloud Platform and various servers/containers is also essential.
Responsibilities

Design and develop integration solutions using Guidewire products.

Work with web services (SOAP and Restful API), XML, and JSON schema.

Handle messaging, GXModel, batch processes, workqueues, and integration gateway.

Integrate Guidewire centers with external services.
-
Utilize SQL for database work on Oracle/SQL Server.
-
Use SCM tools such as GIT, TFS, and SVN.
-
Employ various servers/containers like Tomcat, JBoss, and WebSphere.

Work in Agile SCRUM or SAFe methodology.

Mentor team members and review code.

Estimate project timelines and costs.
Requirements

Hands-on experience with at least one Guidewire product (ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter, BillingCenter).

Strong knowledge of Guidewire platform (Gosu scripting, UI, Data Model).

Experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform.

Proficiency in web services (SOAP and Restful API), XML, JSON schema.

Expertise in designing integrations for Guidewire centers.

Experience with databases (Oracle, SQL Server) and SQL.

Knowledge of SCM tools (GIT, TFS, SVN).
-
Experience with servers/containers (Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere).

Good written and oral communication.

Excellent analytical skills.
-
Insurance domain knowledge, especially in Property & Casualty.

Sound knowledge in software architecture and design patterns.
-
At least two Guidewire implementations.

Guidewire Cloud Certification is a must.
