Description
This Golang Developer position at Odyssey Information Services involves creating and maintaining Golang-based microservices and libraries. Located in the Dallas, TX area, this role requires onsite hybrid work and is not eligible for C2C or third-party engagement.
Responsibilities
Create Golang-based microservices and libraries.
Perform code reviews.
Contribute to coding standards and practices.
Implement cryptographic algorithms for signing and encrypting.
Collaborate with different teams for end-to-end testing.
Guide and contribute to architecture and infrastructure.
Create and guide internal documentation processes.
Requirements
Strong communication skills, especially for giving and receiving constructive feedback in a collaborative setting.
Minimum of 4 years of programming experience in languages like C, C++, C#, Rust, Python, or Golang.
Good understanding of API design and security practices.
Understanding of authorization vs authentication.
Experience with REST and gRPC.
Experience with AWS infrastructure and services, including application deployment and securing sensitive data in the cloud.
Familiarity with container technologies.
Ability to architect, build, and operate distributed systems for problem-solving.
Experience in secure coding.
Good understanding of security concepts like TLS, PKI, SAML/OAuth, Key management, and hashing algorithms.
Understanding of CI/CD, Artifactory, SonarQube.
