PermitFlow is looking for a Fullstack Software Engineer to join our growing team.
Our mission is to simplify construction permitting in the $1.6 trillion United States construction market.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about solving real-world problems and building innovative software solutions.
You will work closely with our CTO and engineering team to develop a comprehensive permit application and management platform for builders.
Responsibilities

Collaborate with the CTO and engineering team to develop the first construction permit application and management platform.

Work directly with the founders and users to define the product and engineering roadmap.

Own and ship features from inception to implementation.

Develop and refine extensible and flexible workflow tooling for permitting.

Build exceptional user experiences that allow users to easily apply, track, and manage their permits.

Mentor engineers and others to build a culture of technical excellence.
Requirements
-
Strong experience in fullstack development, ideally in startup environments.

Significant experience with React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Postgres.

Detail-oriented and strive for excellence in your work.

Proven track record of managing technically challenging and cross-functional projects.

Customer-first mindset with an interest in talking to users to ensure a polished product.
