Description
Stripe is looking for a Frontend Engineer to join the Internal Identity Team. This role focuses on creating secure and user-friendly web applications for managing identities and access at Stripe. The engineer will contribute to enhancing the security infrastructure while improving user experience for internal security tools.
Responsibilities
Design and develop modern, responsive web applications for identity and access management systems.
Participate in end-to-end product development from ideation to user feedback.
Implement best practices in frontend development, including using Stripe’s design pattern library.
Contribute to full stack development and design of core APIs and data flows in Go.
Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack.
Uphold Stripe’s high engineering and product quality standards while mentoring less experienced team members.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in full-time frontend web development roles.
Experience building web applications with React, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Familiarity with modern frontend unit testing and integration testing frameworks.
Understanding of RESTful APIs and modern frontend build tools.
Basic knowledge of backend technologies and database systems.
Strong communication skills and collaboration abilities.
