Airbnb is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Marketing Technology team.

In this role, the manager will lead a talented team to build a no-code or low-code platform.

This platform will enable content creation and publication across various marketing channels to reach millions daily.

They will also collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure technical direction aligns with the company's goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a full-stack team of frontend and backend engineers.

  • Oversee the vision and technical direction for content platforms across multiple marketing channels.

  • Attract and mentor top talent, ensuring a strong and cohesive team environment.

  • Collaborate with designers, product, and marketing teams to set and communicate clear priorities.

  • Develop and deliver impactful project roadmaps in collaboration with engineering and product teams.

  • Promote a culture that prioritizes technical excellence from design to production.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years managing engineering teams and 9+ years in software development in a tech environment.

  • Experience in frontend web development.

  • Proven skills in designing, leading, and architecting large distributed web applications.

  • Excellent communication skills with a collaborative mindset.

  • Experience in building and growing productive engineering teams.

  • Passion for technical quality, efficiency, and operational excellence.

  • Knowledge of React and TypeScript technologies.

  • Experience in marketing technology or CMS services is beneficial.
