Responsibilities
Deliver engineering projects that boost security, reliability, compliance, and automation of the fleet.
Identify opportunities to automate manual tasks through tool building.
Collaborate with Security, IT Operations, and Developer Productivity teams for troubleshooting and responding to tooling requests.
Utilize deep technical skills to debug and resolve complex issues.
Maintain high code quality standards by reviewing and providing feedback on peer submissions.
Contribute to the team’s long-term charter and roadmap.
Mentor team members and uphold technical decision-making standards.
Improve operational metrics and systems for tracking fleet health.
Stay informed on industry trends to ensure Stripe's technological leadership.
Requirements
Experience managing endpoints using configuration management tools like Chef, Puppet, or Ansible.
Proficiency in a software development language.
Ability to write infrastructure as code with declarative configuration files.
Experience with middleware development.
Skill in leveraging APIs for infrastructure changes.
Focus on creating excellent user experiences.
