Billing Team Lead

Description
RLDatix is seeking a dedicated Billing Team Lead to support the billing specialists and ensure accurate and timely invoicing for our customers. The successful candidate will manage the debtor’s ledger and collaborate with the Sales and Professional Services teams to address customer queries.
Responsibilities
Offer guidance and support to Regional Billing Specialists in their daily tasks.
Check and finalize invoices, credit notes, and journals before posting.
Assist the Billing Manager with reporting, analysis, team SLA & KPI management, and other ad hoc duties.
Generate and send invoices and credit notes in accordance with client contracts and company policy.
Maintain good relationships with customers and address their queries promptly.
Collaborate with Sales and Professional Services teams to monitor billable sales, customer retention, and credit control issues.
Work with the Collections team to chase outstanding debt and record incoming payments.
Create and maintain client data in Salesforce and Netsuite.
Assist with month-end procedures and reports for the board pack.
Prepare for the annual audit and perform other ad hoc duties.
Requirements
At least 1 year of experience working within a finance team.
Detail-oriented with an accurate, logical, and methodical approach to work.
Good time management skills and ability to organize and prioritize workload proactively.
Proficiency in computer literacy including Word and Excel.
Experience using Salesforce and FinancialForce is highly advantageous.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
Excellent numeracy and analytical problem-solving abilities to resolve invoice queries.
