As a Backend Software Engineer, you will be key in creating Pinner-facing features and pushing the limits of Pinterest's technology. Working closely with product managers, designers, and engineers, you'll help build frameworks and features, driving new initiatives from start to finish.
Responsibilities
Build backend features to power Pinterest's future services.
Lead stages of product development, from ideation to release.
Prototype, run A/B tests, and build scalable solutions.
Work with design, product, and backend teams for end-to-end functionality.
Propose new product ideas and features.
Use automated testing to ensure high-quality features.
Grow as an engineer by learning from experienced peers.
Requirements
2+ years of backend development experience with consumer or business products.
Proficiency in backend tech stacks for RESTful API, storage, caching, and data processing.
Follow best practices for reliable, maintainable code.
Keep up-to-date with new technologies.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
