Deloitte is looking for a Backend Senior Software Developer.

This role is within the US Tax Transformation technology team.

It is an opportunity to contribute to transforming global tax business through digital technology.

As a member of this team, one will help execute Deloitte's tax strategy and engage with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, debug, test, deploy, and support custom applications and modules that meet business requirements.

  • Participate in requirements analysis and collaborate with US colleagues and Vendors' teams to produce software design and architecture.

  • Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages.

  • Test and deploy applications and systems, and revise, update, refactor, and debug code.

  • Develop, support, and maintain applications and technology solutions.

  • Ensure all development efforts meet or exceed client expectations in scope, functionality, and time, adhering to defined standards.

  • Get acquainted with development tools, testing methodologies, and project management processes.

  • Foster collaboration with on-shore and off-shore team members.

  • Ensure quality and low bug rates of code released into production, and work on agile projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant discipline.

  • 3+ years of leading technical delivery teams.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to travel up to 25%.

  • One of the following accreditations: CPA, Licensed Attorney, Enrolled Agent, or relevant technology certifications.
