Our client is searching for a Backend Developer specializing in Go and Microservices. This hybrid role is based in Minneapolis and requires authorization to work in the US, with no visa support available. The company focuses on transforming human experiences by equipping brands with tools to understand their audiences and craft human-centric digital experiences. This position involves designing software architecture, writing scalable code, and optimizing databases while working with high-volume, distributed systems.
Responsibilities
Design software architecture and implement microservices in Go.
Write scalable, efficient, and testable code.
Optimize database schemas and advise on technical best practices.
Build high-volume, distributed systems and explore new customer value opportunities.
Requirements
BS/MS in Computer Science or related field.
7+ years in backend development with experience in Go and microservices.
Strong knowledge of distributed systems (gRPC, Kafka, NoSQL, SQL, Redis) and cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
Proficient in Agile methodologies, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Portfolio or side project showcasing curiosity and innovation.
Experience with Kubernetes, gRPC/Protobuf, and DevOps is preferred.
Familiarity with Python, message brokers, and psychometric data is a plus.
