Description
Fishbowl is seeking an Associate QA Engineer to strengthen its software testing team. This entry-level role focuses on testing and automating Fishbowl's inventory software products, catering to small to enterprise-sized businesses.
Responsibilities
Work within a team of Software Quality Engineers, focusing on testing and delivering products.
Help generate test plans, and collaborate with the team on test case writing and manual testing.
Identify, document, and track software defects and issues through the entire testing lifecycle.
Create automation scripts for manual test case flows based on test plans.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives by providing insights from testing results and regression runs.
Participate in agile meetings and activities including the daily stand-up meeting, sprint planning, sprint demos, and retrospectives.
Requirements
Demonstrated experience analyzing complex systems and determining areas for testing.
Able to identify patterns and trends within layered data and systems to uncover potential issues.
Proficient in breaking down requirements into testable components for effective validation.
Existing knowledge of UI automation tools, preferably Selenium.
Prior experience working in an Agile/SCRUM environment is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
0 to 1 year of experience working with commercial software or customer-facing products in a team setting is required.
An equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
